Facilitates the management of corporate performance in terms of planning, results management and continuous improvement. This application provides a fully integrated control mechanism to drive an organisation’s missions and values, through goals, targets and actions.
Overview: “Drive your organisation to better performance and excellence”
The performance management application captures an organisation’s plan starting with its goals and then the performance and enabling targets associated with each goal. Targets can belong to more than one goal. Each target will have an action plan that is managed by the core action management system. This is a top-down approach to achieving the plan with the awareness and support of the entire organisation.
Performance targets feature real-time charts that can be configured to form decision-making dashboards that are used by managers via web pages on the Intranet. Alerts and drill-down features facilitate management by exception where the full detail behind a particular target can be explored in real time and corrective action instigated. Targets cascade throughout the organisation via its structure in order to drive competency-based employee review processes.
Assessment is instrumental to the “Check” part of the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” continuous improvement cycle. The performance management system makes use of the assessment module to track progress against external standards and benchmarks and organisation’s expectations.

The Framework
The Application is hosted in the powerful and adaptable Cabis application framework. This framework is developed using the very latest Microsoft .NET and SQL Server technologies. To complement other key business systems our framework enables easy integration with other operational solutions, such as ERP, HR and other operational systems. It can be operated on a variety of database systems, although our preferred platforms are Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
Action Management
All Cabis applications are designed around best practice principles and continuous improvement. The Action Management System is a key part of the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” continuous improvement cycle. It provides the substance and driving force behind each stage of the cycle.
